Wave Coasters

The wave coasters are great! Very happy with the coasters. Only complaint is that they have felt across the entire bottom. This gets wet, particularly with ice drinks. Little rubber nubbies on the corner and middle would probably be better.

Custom Butcher Block

Made to order and extremely pleased!

I wanted to gift myself a butcher block. Love cooking and love the concept of getting back to the basics.
A butcher block seemed perfect.
After viewing the used market I searched up and coming candidates to help design and then build a block.
From the start I enjoyed Jeff’s enthusiasm and willing to give my project a go.
The final product is the centre piece of my kitchen.
So pleased I also
Had Jeff design and build me a sideboard.

Both pieces are beautiful and built with pride by Jeff.

Jeff cut out a complex 3-D shape in cherry wood with precision and care that allowed me to trim my motor yacht bathroom. It's obvious how much he both enjoys working with wood and cares about how he can create masterpieces with it. Thanks for being so accommodating.

We are delighted with our new table and chairs. Jeff worked with us to come up with a design that suited our taste. He is very detail oriented and the workmanship is outstanding. We have a table and chairs that will last generations.

I needed a unique gift for close family members, but couldn't find anything that stood out. I came to The Stables Woodshop on a bit of a crunched timeline and Jeff delivered. The quality and craftsmanship were clear, but it was the service that really stood out.

Not only did he accommodate the hastened timeline, but he was collaborative throughout the whole process. He first made sure to understand what I thought I wanted and provided insightful suggestions, and then also made sure to understand who this gift was for and how they would use it, then tailored his recommendations to their sensibilities. Needless to say, I adopted them all.

The final product was a big hit, and is now a permanent mainstay on their countertop. A functional conversation piece that's already received heavy use, which they are not concerned in the least about because Jeff followed up with an extremely detailed custom care and maintenance guide to ensure they'd be enjoying it for years to come.

Overall, great value and great service. I would highly recommend The Stables Woodshop, and I plan on being a return customer before the secret gets out and there's waitlist for new projects.
